Terms of Service

Lockwave lets creators put content behind a gate. Visitors gain access by completing a sponsored offer or by purchasing a membership. Lockwave provides the tools and payment processing; creators are responsible for the content they lock.

You may only lock content you own or are authorized to distribute. You must not use the Service for anything illegal, infringing, deceptive, adult content involving minors, malware, or content that violates the terms of our partners (including the payment processor and offer networks). We may remove lockers and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Memberships are recurring subscriptions. When you start one you authorize Lockwave (via our payment processor) to charge your payment method on a repeating basis until you cancel:

• Free trial: if a plan includes a free trial, your membership converts to paid at the end of the trial and you will be charged the stated price unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Renewal: plans renew automatically at the stated price and interval (e.g. weekly) until cancelled. We show the price, interval, and next charge date at checkout and by email.
• Cancellation: you can cancel any time from your account page or the billing portal. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds: except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Contact support and we will review individual cases.

Some content unlocks by completing a third-party offer. Those offers are operated by the offer network and its advertisers, subject to their terms. Lockwave is not responsible for third-party offers or the products they promote.

Creators earn a share of revenue their lockers generate, as described in the dashboard. Earnings are held for a clearing period to cover refunds and chargebacks, and paid out through our payment processor once a minimum threshold is met. You are responsible for your own taxes.

Do not attempt to defraud offer networks, generate fake traffic or completions, circumvent gating, or abuse the Service. Fraudulent activity may result in forfeiture of earnings and account termination.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lockwave is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior three months.
